Pastor:
Reverend Larry D. Buckland Jr. is a West Virginia native who graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2006. He also holds an undergraduate degree from West Virginia University. Before coming to St. Paul he held appointments in Morgantown, Ravenswood, and Huntington. Larry is married to Jennifer, and they have one child, Trey. He likens his role as pastor to that of a "friend, working side by side with other ministers. Some know that role; others are discovering it, and many more who are searching for their place in the world. God calls all of us to minister and make disciples of Jesus Christ."
Larry serves in various capacities within our community. He is a member of Fairmont State University's United Methodist Advisory Committee, he serves on the West Virginia Annual Conference Board of Higher Education, he is the chaplain for Marion County Hospice, he works with the Fairmont Council of Churches while being the Co-Commissioner of their Senior High Basketball League, and he serves on the Watson Elementary School Advisory Board.
Secretary:
Carol A. McCormick, church secretary since September 2001. Member of St. Paul along with husband, Rich. Four children: Cara Kuykendall, Carla Metelko, Carl & Caren McCormick. One grandchild: Duncan Kuykendall. Also serves as communion steward and member of Lydia Circle. Likes crafts, reading, gardening and traveling.
